I've had a serious interest in photography for longer than I can remember but particularly in genres where light and shadow added cinematic-like drama to a subject.

In the early 2000's, I discovered a style of photography that was unlike anything I had ever seen before. Images that look more like a painting than a traditional photograph. Created and brought to life by the photographer using highly specialized lighting and post processing techniques.  And by dint of very good fortune, I was able to jump-start my light painting photography career when I had the opportunity to study under arguably two of the very best in this genre, Harold Ross and John Hartman, real pioneers of their craft.
